in the new "skills" category, jack continues to improve using his fork and spoon at meals. less food ends up on the floor and more in his mouth and recently he's started trying to jump and also takes a few swings at the ball when daddy "pitches" to him - maybe it's not wishful thinking to hope for a future major leaguer?!
here's some photos and video from the past week, enjoy.

Hi Jack....it was so much fun to have you, mom, dad, Aunt Maureen and Uncle Josh here last week (oh, and Stanley). Pop-pop was really sad that he missed seeing you...he can't wait to get back from Germany for good and take a trip to see the Jack-man. You are such a busy little guy..why sit when you can walk, why walk when you can run??? Devon and Riley, our neighbor's girls came over to play with you and help you make chalk drawings on the driveway. We had an amazing collection of artwork, until it poured rain and it all got washed away. Mom brought you up to Norfeldt one day and you amused Miss Kathy, Miss Caryn and Mr. Steve with your antics - "ready, set, go" and Jack's off to the races! Aunt Maureen, Pop-Pop and I are heading to Germany tomorrow - I will miss talking to mom and getting Jack updates. Love you little man - Nana
Hi Jack,
Really sorry I missed you this weekend in CT - but will be seeing you soon later this month. In fact, thought you and I could go watch mommy and daddy play softball together - and then have pizza. Loved all the pictures mommy put on the blog, and really glad you had a chance to visit mommy's favorite camp during the summer.
See you soon - Pop-Pop
